Infiniti Locksmith in Atlanta, GA: Intelligent Keys for the G, Q and QX Lines
A push-button Infiniti that will not see its fob, a used Q50 that came home with one key, a G35 with no key at all: each one is worked out at the car, day or night. With every key gone, the dispatcher goes over your model year with you on the first call and names the route for it.

Infiniti keys, made and registered beside the car instead of at a dealer counter
4Keys Locksmith is a mobile Infiniti locksmith for Metro Atlanta, GA, open 24/7; the business behind it, 4Keys Locksmith LLC, appears on the Georgia Secretary of State's register, is insured by The Hartford, and is both ALOA-trained and NASTF VSP authorized. No shop, no waiting room: the programmer, the key machine and the fobs travel to the Infiniti, as a mobile locksmith with no shop describes, and vans leave Brookhaven for each call.
The Infinitis in the tool maker's Infiniti-Nissan manual follow the same registration rules as Nissan: one PIN opens the session, every key is erased, and only the keys present are written back. That shared system is explained in full on the Nissan locksmith page. This page spends its depth on what is Infiniti's own: the Intelligent Key generations from the G35 to the Q70L, the bulletins Infiniti wrote about fobs that go undetected, and the part numbers that separate two keys that look identical.
Infiniti work here includes keys for modern push-button models with AES chips, programming a fob you ordered online once FCC ID, frequency and part number agree with the car's, and fitting a new warranted fob when the old one dies. Codes that Infiniti issues only through a dealer or NASTF are reached under NASTF VSP, the access dealer-level locksmith software depends on. 4Keys pairs that access with a subscription to CONSULT III plus, the Nissan/Infiniti dealer software (Infiniti being Nissan's luxury brand), and with original (OEM) Infiniti Intelligent Keys. A company with several Infinitis in its car pool can key them in one trip through fleet key programming. Infiniti jobs are priced during the call, before dispatch, against the rates on the pricing page, and you can speak English or Spanish on that call.
When the Infiniti does not see its Intelligent Key: five checks drawn from Infiniti's own bulletins
The first three cost nothing. The last two are where a locksmith comes in.
- 1
Rule out radio interference
Infiniti bulletin ITB13-052a, dated November 29, 2016, covers the push-button Infiniti whose Intelligent Key goes unseen and whose engine stays off. It blames radio interference on the 315 and 433 MHz bands, and the vehicles it applies to include the 2014-2017 Q50, QX60 and Q70 and the 2013 JX35. The symptoms it lists are no response at the Start/Stop button and fob buttons or door request switches that work only now and then. Take the fob off a crowded ring, move phones and chargers away from it, and try the button again.
- 2
Look the fob over for damage and water
Bulletin ITB08-051D, revised March 24, 2021 and written for every Infiniti with an Intelligent Key, starts with a physical inspection: cracks, a broken case, and signs of water inside. Infiniti notes that damage and water intrusion are not covered by its warranty. When the inspection finds either, the fix is a new fob rather than a fresh battery.
- 3
Check the battery, including which way it faces
The same bulletin moves next to the coin cell: its orientation in the case and its voltage. A cell put in upside down after a battery change gives the same silence as a dead one. The push-button G37, FX35, Q50, QX60 and Q70L carry a mechanical blade inside the fob for the door; for the backup start and the rest of the diagnosis, see what to try when a key fob stops working.
- 4
Confirm the fob belongs to this car
Bulletin ITB16-005B warns that Intelligent Keys that look the same may be made by different manufacturers and carry different electronics, and it tells technicians not to register a key from one vehicle to another; the VIN and the parts catalog decide. On the 2017-2021 Q50 and Q60, 2019-2021 QX50 and 2015-2020 QX60, bulletin ITB17-055B adds that from late 2017 or early 2018 the last five digits of the part number are marked under the mechanical key, while the catalog stays the authority.
- 5
Register a key the car will accept
When the fob itself is the fault, a new Intelligent Key is registered through the route of that model year, with the other keys present so they stay on the list. The service side is smart key fob programming, and a fob in good physical shape that simply lost its pairing goes back on the list instead of being replaced, as the deprogrammed or broken fob guide lays out.
From the G35 to the Q70L: how the Infiniti key changed, and what each change means for a new one
The G35 is where Nissan's random PIN began: the Advanced Diagnostics manual records that the BCM-derived code was first introduced on the 2003 G35. The key itself depends on body style and equipment. The transponder blade NI04T fits the G35 sedan of 2003-2006 and the coupe of 2003-2007, with a separate remote that STRATTEC lists for the G35 of 2003-2006. Some 2005-2006 G35s carry a twist-knob proximity key with an emergency key, and the 2007 G35 sedan moved to push-button start with an Intelligent Key. Two G35s of the same year can therefore need entirely different keys, so the technician who calls you back may ask for a photo of yours.
The G37, the EX35, the FX35 and FX50, the M35 and M45 and the QX56 sit on what the tool maker calls the Nissan 2009 push-button system: the BCM code is converted to a four-digit PIN, and the session includes a steering lock release step. Fitment lists put the G35 sedan of 2007-2008, the G37 of 2008-2013 and the EX35 of 2008-2012 on fobs with FCC ID KR55WK48903. The FX35 of 2011-2012 takes the KR55WK49622 with a Philips ID46 chip at 315 MHz, part number 285E3-1CA7A, and a 2010 FX35 appears under both FCC IDs, so its part number settles which one it takes.
The 2013 JX35, predecessor of the QX60, needs the rolling 20-digit code. The tool shows an Out-Code, and the matching In-Code is issued by a dealer or through NASTF and nowhere else, the channel NASTF VSP authorization opens. Vendors list the fob part number 285E3-9NB5A for the 2013-2015 JX35 and 2013-2017 QX60 with no on-board programming, and the 2017 QX60 also takes the 285E3-9NF4A, a Hitag AES key that needs a scan tool.
The Q50 shows how one model can split. The 2014-2015 cars use FCC ID KR5S180144203, a Hitag AES (4A) chip at 315 MHz, part numbers 285E3-4HD0A or 4HD0C, with a DA34 emergency blade; the 2016-2019 cars use KR5S180144014, part number 285E3-4HK0A, and the 2016 model year alone has three different smart key options. The Q70 of 2014-2019 and Q70L of 2015-2019 carry the CWTWB1U787 at 434 MHz with an ID46 chip, part number 285E3-1MP0D. On the owner side, STRATTEC documents remote pairing for Infinitis of 2000-2008, and no owner registration of a transponder or an Intelligent Key is documented for any of them.
Older Infinitis share the NSN14 ten-cut lock profile of the DA34 family. Original Lishi lists its NSN14 pick and decoder for the FX35 2003-2013, G35 2005-2008, G37 2008-2014 and the Q50, Q60 and Q70 of 2014-2017, which is how a technician reads the cuts from a lock when the last blade is gone, and the Q50 of 2014-2016 carries a DA34 emergency blade inside its fob. The blade and the chip are two separate jobs on every one of these cars: the cut opens the door, the registration lets the engine run.
Infiniti keys by model, year and part number
Years exactly as the key catalogs, the tool maker's manual and Infiniti's bulletins print them. Where one FCC ID covers two chips, the part number decides. When the last key is gone, your year's route gets settled with the dispatcher ahead of the van's departure.

Bought a used Infiniti that came with one key? Make the second one now.
A used Infiniti sold with a single Intelligent Key leaves you one lost fob away from a key built from zero, a longer job than duplicating a key that still works. On the Infinitis that register keys through the PIN route, registration wipes the key memory and re-enrolls only the keys present, so the session also drops any key a previous owner may still hold, a quiet security gain. Bring the key you have; a second-hand fob from another Infiniti is a poor bet, because Infiniti's own bulletin forbids moving an Intelligent Key from one vehicle to another. The spare side of the work is under car key duplication, and if the last key does go missing, all keys lost explains the route.

Where the van meets your Infiniti, and the locks it can change while there
An Infiniti is reached wherever it is parked in Metro Atlanta: a home driveway, a condominium garage, an office deck or a lot at work. Give the dispatcher the level and row in a deck, or the gate code at a complex. Vans leave Brookhaven, and the dispatcher gives you the arrival time. Pages for places along the routes: Austell, whose page covers push-to-start cars that do not detect the key, Alpharetta for smart keys with a dead battery, Lawrenceville for used cars with a single key, Powder Springs for fobs that lost their programming, and Dunwoody.
The same technician handles house and business locks. For the house: getting in after a lockout, rekeying, deadbolt installation and smart locks, under residential locksmith service and home locks in Metro Atlanta. For an office or a shop: new keying after staff changes, master keying, card or keypad access control and panic hardware, under commercial locksmith service and business locks in Georgia.
4Keys is ALOA-trained and NASTF VSP authorized, and its dealer-level software, used under that authorization, covers vehicles from six origins (Japanese, American, Korean, German, Italian and British), so the Infiniti and the other cars in your household are handled on the same call.
