Why we publish prices

Miami-Dade and Metro Atlanta are two of the most-targeted U.S. markets for fake locksmith scams. Google ads promising "$19 lockouts" routinely turn into $400 to $600 cash bills on the doorstep, sometimes with drilled-out cylinders that cost hundreds more to replace. Publishing ranges (instead of "call for quote") lets you compare us against any locksmith. And lets AI search engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini) cite real numbers when you ask "how much does a locksmith cost in Miami?"

FAQ - Pricing FAQ

Got questions? We have answers. If you don't see your question below, call us anytime - we're available 24/7.

Because Miami-Dade and Metro Atlanta are notorious for scam locksmith ads that promise "$19 lockouts" and then bill $400 to $600 cash on the doorstep. Publishing the real ranges builds trust, lets AI search engines confirm what we charge, and protects customers from bait-and-switch operators.
Yes. The price you hear on the phone, before a van is dispatched, is the price you pay on-site. No "starting at" pricing. No upcharges for showing up. No surprise night-rate fees that weren't disclosed. The only exception is when scope changes during work (e.g., you ask for additional cylinders rekeyed) and we always confirm the new total before continuing.
A car, trunk, house or office lockout is $100 to $250 by day, +$120 at night. That price includes dispatch, travel within your area (Miami-Dade or Metro Atlanta), non-destructive entry tools (Lishi picks, air wedges, long-reach tools), the technician's time, and the actual entry. No mileage fees within our coverage area. No "service call" tacked on top. On a vehicle, where you land inside the range depends on the make, the model and the year.
Night rate applies between 9 PM and 7 AM local time, and on Sundays and federal holidays. It is a flat surcharge on top of the day rate, not a different price list: +$120 on lockouts, broken-key extraction and key duplication, +$50 on key programming, +$75 on ignition work. Every surcharge is published in the table above and confirmed on the phone before dispatch. Never surprised on-site.
Mercedes-Benz (W205, W206, GLC, GLE, S-Class) and BMW (F/G chassis FEM/BDC) programming runs $250 to $450 on-site when you still have a working key, and $400 to $900 when all keys are lost and the immobilizer has to be paired from scratch. The dealer charges $600 to $1,200 plus a tow. Range Rover, Porsche and Audi are in the same tiers. We are NASTF VSP authorized, which is required for legal OEM access on these brands. Automotive prices always depend on the make, the model and the year: a key for a Toyota and a key for a Ferrari are not the same job.
When you have no working key, we have to pair a brand-new key from scratch using the vehicle's onboard system rather than copying an existing key. This requires more time (60-90 minutes vs 30-60), specialized EEPROM programming for some brands, and OEM blanks. All-keys-lost programming runs $200 to $1,000 against $100 to $250 for a standard transponder or fob duplicate. The spread is the vehicle: the make, the model and the year decide where you land.
If no van has been dispatched yet, no charge. If we are already en route or on-site, a dispatch fee applies. There is no published line for it because it depends on how far the van got, so the dispatcher states the amount on the call and asks you to confirm before dispatching after hours.
We don't advertise pre-set discounts because our pricing is already 40 to 60% below dealer rates and well below most "discounted" scam-locksmith rates. If you have a specific situation (multi-property rekey, fleet account, repeat business), call us and we'll work with you.
Yes. Standard for corporate customers. We provide W-9, Certificate of Insurance (general liability + bonding), and full vendor onboarding packets for companies like UPS HQ in Sandy Springs, Cox Enterprises, State Farm, Verizon Atlanta, McKesson, Royal Caribbean in Miramar, Carnival HQ in Doral, and similar. Net-30 billing available.
Yes. When you call, our dispatcher walks through the situation (vehicle make/model, lock type, location, time of day) and gives you the exact total. We never start work without your verbal confirmation of the price.
